This year I reread a small book that we have had for years. It was called Don't Forget the Star and was written by George D. Durrant. In the book it shares his Christmas experiences and his wonderful insights into this holy time of the year. The entire book is wonderful, but I was most touched by chapter 5 which describes his first Christmas away from home while a missionary in England. It brings the true meaning of Christmas into focus in a very special way. With permission, I share this chapter in the words of the author. I pray that any that read this can feel that special spirit that I have felt as I remembered that "Jesus Christ is Christmas".
